Local rules

1. Out of bounds (Rule 18.8)

out of bounds is defined by:
(a) the line between the course side points at ground level of white stakes.
(b) course side edge of any fence or wall defining the boundary of the course.
(c) coarse side edge of the hotel gardens, car parks, and pathway around the hotel.
(d) course side edge of the tarmacadam or concrete area to the right of and behind the 9th green.
(e) course side, edge of the car park, to the right of the 10th Tee.

2. Penalty areas (Rule 17.1)

All open drains are defined as red penalty areas.

3. Ground under repair (Rule 16.1)

Ground under repair is defined by any area encircled by a white line.

 4. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1)

All artificially surfaced roads and gravel pathways, direction markers behind the 11th and 17th greens, seats, distance markers, sprinkler heads, manhole covers, screens at the 14th and 17th Tees and lamp standards on the avenue leading to the hotel and clubhouse are immovable obstructions, relief may be taken under rule 16.1.
